Opposites attract when a single dad and an ER nurse take a shot at finding true love in this heartwarming, heartfelt romance. Griffin Sullivan is handling the ultimate balancing act. Sadie Braddock has always had a big, open heart and a bit of a wild side. But since her dad got sick, she's closed herself off to life and love. Relationships are way too complicated--and so is Griffin. He's also funny and tender and sexy as hell. How can something that feels so right come at the worst time ever? Then again, someone to lean on may be exactly what they each need--if they're only brave enough to take the risk.

Everything in Its Right Place Book Review:

More than any rock artist since The Beatles, Radiohead's music inhabits the sweet spot between two extremes: on the one hand, music that is wholly conventional and conforms to all expectations of established rock styles, and, on the other hand, music so radically experimental that it thwarts any learned notions. While averting mainstream trends but still achieving a significant level of success in both US and UK charts, Radiohead's music includes many surprises and subverted expectations, yet remains accessible within a framework of music traditions. In Everything in its Right Place: Analyzing Radiohead, Brad Osborn reveals the functioning of this reconciliation of extremes in various aspects of Radiohead's music, analyzing the unexpected shifts in song structure, the deformation of standard 4/4 backbeats, the digital manipulation of familiar rock 'n' roll instrumentation, and the expected resolutions of traditional cadence structures. Expanding on recent work in musical perception, focusing particularly on form, rhythm and meter, timbre, and harmony, Everything in its Right Place treats Radiohead's recordings as rich sonic ecosystems in which a listener participates in an individual search for meaning, bringing along expectations learned from popular music, classical music, or even Radiohead's own compositional idiolect. Radiohead's violations of these subjective expectation-realization chains prompt the listener to search more deeply for meaning within corresponding lyrics, biographical details of the band, or intertextual relationships with music, literature, or film. Synthesizing insights from a range of new methodologies in the theory of pop and rock, and specifically designed for integration into music theory courses for upper level undergraduates, Everything in its Right Place is sure to find wide readership among scholars and students, as well as avid listeners who seek a deeper understanding of Radiohead's distinctive juxtapositional style.

So Wrong It s Right Book Review:

What would you do if the boyfriend you totally made up to get your sister off your back showed up at your place of employment? Free-spirited Stella Stone has always been the wild child in her family, but even she is surprised at the amount of trouble she's found herself in this time. Christopher Lockwood was a random name she chose from the internet. How was she supposed to know he would end taking a temporary position in the veterinary office she manages? Now she somehow has to keep the uptight, tie-wearing, self-contained Christopher from figuring out that the whole town thinks they are dating, and somehow also keep the whole town from figuring out she's a pathetic liar with a fake boyfriend. Oh, and it doesn't help that he's a major hottie under those Clark Kent glasses and stern demeanor. In fact, something about his need for control brings out Stella's inner brat, especially when he decides she needs a little discipline. Too bad there's no such thing as a secret in Brazen Bay. Not for very long. Author's Confession: This is the most opposite-y opposites attract book ever with added fake relationship crack. Stella is a fan favorite and Christopher is the Alpha Nerd Hero you didn't know you needed in your life. You are going to love the surprisingly dirty dude under the restrained and inhibited mask he shows the world. I mean unf, am I right? He's the only one who could keep up with our deliciously nutty Stella and give her a worthy HEA.

So Wrong It s Right Book Review:

Shelby Hunt has the perfect life, married to the perfect man. At least, that’s what anyone would think, looking at her. They couldn’t possibly know about the past five years of lonely nights, or the divorce papers still sitting unsigned on her husband’s desk, or the shady business practices he’s brought home on more than one occasion — often in the form of scary men with loaded guns and briefcases full of laundered cash. The truth is, Shelby’s perfect life is starting to feel like a prison… one she’s not sure she’ll escape from alive… When her husband’s illegal exploits put her in criminal crosshairs, Shelby finds herself at the mercy of Special Agent Conor Gallagher — head of Boston’s elite Organized Crime division. The seasoned FBI agent is brash, bossy, and boyishly handsome in a way that makes Shelby’s breath catch… even when he’s interrogating her as a potential suspect. With dangerous enemies closing in all around them — and dangerous attraction flaring to life between them — Shelby starts to realize she’s dreading the day Conor catches her no-good husband. Not because she wants to save her marriage… but because she can’t bear to say goodbye to the man who has quickly become her fiercest protector… SO WRONG IT’S RIGHT is a comedic contemporary romance about a woman trying to escape a broken marriage… and the bossy perpetual bachelor who steps in to keep her safe. It is the fifth installment of the internationally bestselling BOSTON LOVE STORY series and can be read as a complete standalone. Due to sexy-times, strong language, and suspenseful themes, it is recommended to readers ages 17 and up.

When It s Right to be Wrong Book Review:

Whether he's selling beer, health insurance or the army, former adman Russel believes in the power of the idea, and that creativity is needed to make good things happen. Whether it's about business or everyday life, Russel knows sometimes you simply have go against the tide. In When It's Right to Be Wrong we're let into the Howcroft view of the world. It's not what you expect to hear, but that's hardly surprising from the man who once wanted to put a dwarf, a nurse and a monkey in the same ad. Changing your mind is a good thing. Privacy is overrated so give everyone your phone number. Smile at strangers. Forget reality; the right kind of BS can create magical success. Good people rise to the top. Work–life balance is bullshit. Russel Howcroft will challenge the way you look at the world. Don't wait to be right. Do it anyway.

About the King s Choice to Build His Palace Right on Top of the Dunghill Book Review:

ISRAEL; the people, the nation, the religion. While remaining acutely aware of the shortcomings of both Heidegger and Derrida, the writer nevertheless uses insights and terminology from their discourse in the service of exposing the historical and thought trends of hegemonic proportions which have had the effect of deracinating Judaism from ISRAEL. The writer makes the claim that a "critical/spelunkative" analysis of what went into that final and anonymous redaction of the Babylonian Talmud points the way towards a retrieval of Judaism's "burning living center." The writer further contends that such a retrieval can have the effect of "returning" [teshuba] Judaism back to ISRAEL.
