A kingdom woman gives the devil as much reason to fear as a kingdom man. She lives confidently in the knowledge that Christ died and rose for her so that she can experience the significance of the destiny to which she has been called. In Kingdom Woman, Tony Evans and his daughter, Chrystal Evans Hurst, remind women of their calling from God to be free, delivered, healed, and hopeful. The authors bring insight that encourages women to correct distorted perceptions and understand who they really are in Christ—never settling for less when connected with the One who gives them hope. All believers are covered by God’s covenant with Abraham. Evans and Hurst want women to know these rights and confidently claim and live by them. The new covenant offers more than a life of mediocrity. A kingdom woman is called and empowered to live a life of victory through Christ!

There is a difference between being a God’s Kingdom woman and a woman of God. Isaiah 6:8–9: The call of God One of the tasks of the Holy Spirit is to call godly leaders in the kingdom. All men and women are "called" to God (Rom. 8:28, 30) yet only a few respond (Matt. 7:13, 14; 22:14; John 15:16). Leaders, however, experience a different kind of call and are called in different ways. • Many are called sovereignly. Moses was singled out by God who spoke to him from a burning bush (Ex. 3:1–4, 17). The child Samuel was called while he was asleep (1 Sam. 3:1–18). Young Isaiah was worshiping in the temple when called by God (Isa. 6:1–9). • Others are called through men. Samuel went to David and anointed him with oil (1 Sam. 16:1–13). Paul instructed Titus to appoint elders in the churches of Crete (Titus 1:5). There is a difference between being a "man/woman of God"—as all are called to be, and being "God ́s man/woman"—one called to leadership (Matt. 16:13–20). So let’s make this personal; then God said, “Let Us make _________________ (put your name in there), in Our (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit) image, according to Our likeness (Gen. 1:26).” She will seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to her (Matt. 6:33). She shall love the Lord her God with all her heart, with all her soul, and with all her strength (Deut. 6:5). Therefore, she will pray, “Our Father in heaven hallowed be Your name, Your kingdom come, Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven (Matt. 6:9–10).” She will go through her daily activities teaching and preaching the good news of the kingdom and healing every disease and sickness (Matt. 9:35). Because she seek My kingdom, the knowledge of the secrets of the kingdom of heaven will be given to her (Matt. 13:11). I will give her the keys of the kingdom of heaven; whatever she bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever she loose on earth will be loosed in heaven (Matt.16:19). I am sending her to preach the kingdom of God and heal the sick (Luke 9:2). Do not be afraid, little flock, for your Father has been pleased to give you the kingdom (Luke 12:32). “Wow, you see how much love and thought went in to your creation?” When God says,"Let Us make man in Our image," He is not talking about a physical likeness, but a personal and spiritual likeness. He is not talking about our physical feature such as the size of our nose, the shape of our head, or our skin color. Man has intellect, emotions, and will. We are a creative being. These are some characteristics of God that are shared by man. We, are not reaching our full potential because we have not realized Whose DNA we have. Therefore, we have unresolved issues that may have started from in the womb. God’s Kingdom Woman takes you back to the Garden of Eden to get your healing. You will realize that it does not matter your entrance into this world but, only that you fulfill the mandate of Christ, which is to establish His kingdom on earth. As it is in heaven so shall it be on earth. Sis, if you are reading this book, God is calling you to complete your assignment as a God’s Kingdom Woman. But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you." (Matt. 6:33) What is the kingdom of God? Now when He was asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come, He answered them and said, “The kingdom of God does not come with observation; nor will they say, see here! Or see there! For indeed, the kingdom of God is within you (Luke 17:20–21).” The kingdom of God is the spiritual reality and the dynamics available to each person who receives Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord. To receive Him—the King—is to receive His kingly rule, not only in your life and over your affairs, but through your life and by your service and love. “The kingdom of God is within you,” Jesus said. A woman of God operates mostly from the outside

“A kingdom man is the kind of man that when his feet hit the floor each morning the devil says, ‘Oh crap, he’s up!’” So begins this powerful volume from Dr. Tony Evans, now in softcover. Tony believes that God wants every man to be a world-changer. He skillfully takes readers along a journey through the principles of biblical manhood, exploring how those who live, work, and minister around a kingdom man benefit from his leadership and care. Men will be challenged to fully understand their position under God as well as their position over what God has given them. Equipped with these concepts, they can actively pursue ways to maximize and develop the character qualities of biblical manhood in their lives. As Tony contends, the enemy doesn’t want you to know it, but you’re not the man you think you are. You’re a whole lot more. Starting now, you can be a kingdom man.

In A Woman's Kingdom, Michelle Lamarche Marrese explores the development of Russian noblewomen's unusual property rights. In contrast to women in Western Europe, who could not control their assets during marriage until the second half of the nineteenth century, married women in Russia enjoyed the right to alienate and manage their fortunes beginning in 1753. Marrese traces the extension of noblewomen's right to property and places this story in the broader context of the evolution of private property in Russia before the Great Reforms of the 1860s. Historians have often dismissed women's property rights as meaningless. In the patriarchal society of Imperial Russia, a married woman could neither work nor travel without her husband's permission, and divorce was all but unattainable. Yet, through a detailed analysis of women's property rights from the Petrine era through the abolition of serfdom in 1861, Marrese demonstrates the significance of noblewomen's proprietary power. She concludes that Russian noblewomen were unique not only for the range of property rights available to them, but also for the active exercise of their legal prerogatives. A remarkably broad source base provides a solid foundation for Marrese's conclusions. These sources comprise more than eight thousand transactions from notarial records documenting a variety of property transfers, property disputes brought to the Senate, noble family papers, and a vast memoir literature. A Woman's Kingdom stands as a masterful challenge to the existing, androcentric view of noble society in Russia before Emancipation.

In a mist-shrouded valley on China's invisible border with Tibet is a place known as the "Kingdom of Women," where a small tribe called the Mosuo lives in a cluster of villages that have changed little in centuries. This is one of the last matrilineal societies on earth, where power lies in the hands of women. All decisions and rights related to money, property, land and the children born to them rest with the Mosuo women, who live completely independently of husbands, fathers and brothers, with the grandmother as the head of each family. A unique practice is also enshrined in Mosuo tradition--that of "walking marriage," where women choose their own lovers from men within the tribe but are beholden to none.

The first book to situate the Saudi woman in a broader cultural context, this text explores a variety of themes, historical developments, and social taboos. It also investigates a wide range of writing by Saudi women, beginning with the first attempt by a woman to write for the public in the middle of the twentieth century up to the peak of the Saudi woman’s literary production in this millennium. It is also concerned with the Saudi woman’s social, economic, and religious contributions, making it possible for the reader to gain a more comprehensive understanding of the reality of Saudi women through studying and connecting the Saudi woman’s past with her present. As such, this book represents a major contribution to the study of women in the Middle East, and offers a unique contrast between fictional presentation and lived experience.

In pursuing our study of woman's appointed place in the divine economy of creation, we turn to the brief account of her first introduction to the earth and to man; for the Apostle says, "the woman was created for the man." (1 Cor. 11:9.) As the account indicates, the object of woman's creation was that she might be a suitable help for man. That man needed just such a help is indicated, not only by the Lord's statement that it was "not good" for him to be "alone," but also by the statement that among all the animals there was none found to be "a suitable help." True, they were all in perfect subjection to him as their lord and master, and perfectly obedient in rendering all the service required. Many of them were strong to bear his burdens, some fleet to run his errands; some gratified his love of the beautiful in form and proportions, and some in plumage; some charmed his ear with strains of music; and all manifested more or less of intelligence and affection; yet in all there was a lack. The perfect man did not crave a burden-bearer, nor an errand-runner, nor a gay butterfly to please the sight, nor a charming musician: what he craved was an intelligent sympathetic companion; and this lack, the "suitable help," which God subsequently provided, exactly supplied. When God had created her and brought her to the man, Adam named her woman. That the word was not used to specially indicate the power of motherhood, is manifest from the fact that when God said that she should become a mother, Adam changed her name to Eve, because she was to be the mother of all living. (Gen. 3:20.) We also read (Gen. 5:2) that "God called their name Adam in the day when they were created." Thus both God and the man recognized this new creature as of the same nature as the man, and yet differing from him both physically and intellectually. She was not another man, but another human being, the counterpart of the man, and therefore a suitable helper for him.
